Let’s take a look at trip planning. I’ll blame my lack of it on searching not once, but twice for a job in the first 6 months of living in San Diego. It wasn’t until last month that I truly got a breather from the job hunt (jeah!). I didn’t start to think about Memorial Day plans until, um, last week. So, basically the ship had sailed on my idea of heading to Joshua Tree for some camping and night photography. Which is the inspiration for this post. One day we’ll make there, hopefully during a new moon so I can get some stellar pics of the Milky Way. Until then, I’ll just have to come back to this post to remind myself to think further ahead next time.
